Meenu Satiya is a new full-time student in the MEM program set to start this fall. She is originally from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, India. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Aeronautical Society of India.

You can find Meenu cooking or travelling when she is not working as a Task Leader at Airbus. She also has a secret talent of acting in front of a mirror and enjoys eating pad thai.

Meenu’s favorite technology company is one that builds airplanes. “Boeing and Airbus are my favorites. Building aircrafts involve combination of so many technologies and thus provides you knowledge about several other technologies as well like virtual reality and data analytics. It is like a deep sea where you explore and learn in depth.”

As a mid-career professional who knows which paths she wants to grow in, she decided to pursue the MEM program to develop herself into a techno-managerial role. “I have done my bachelors in aeronautical engineering and have worked for few years in technical field already but in order to grow myself and become a successful engineering manager, there is a need of formal training.” She looks forward to taking a deep dive into the MEM curriculum and learning how to apply those concepts to her future career aspirations.
