Annual MEM/PriSim Football Tailgate 2017

Beautiful 70 degree weather and BBQ set the stage right for the Annual MEM/PriSim Tailgate on Sept, 16 ^th . Sponsored by  PriSim Business War Games , the family-friendly event provided an opportunity for the MEM family to kick-off the year on the right foot! Over 170 attendees of students, faculty, alumni attended the event. To cap off the evening, the Northwestern football team had a solid victory over Bowling Green, winning the game 49-7.

The tailgate provided opportunities for students, staff and alum to mingle with old friends and new students. Moeen Mujeeb, a current student and Senior Business Development Manager at Motorola Solutions, shares his experience from the annual event:

“My wife and I look forward to this event every year and it has almost become like a family tradition. Our kids really enjoy the tailgate and scrumptious food!. The MEM Football Tailgate provides an excellent opportunity to mingle with new students, alumni, and Professors….Prism – thank you for hosting every year!!”

Henry Sharp, a MEM alum, who currently works as the Quality and Senior Commodity Engineer at Siemens Industry US, also comments on the tailgate:

“I always looks forward to the annual Football Tailgate event. I always had a lot of fun to catch up with classmate, professors, and to meet other fellow MEM students. The event always provided me additional insight of different industries.” 

While this is an annual event, this year represents the first time the MEM/PriSim Tailgate was planned around an evening game. Jeff Lefebvre, MEM Professor and partner at PriSim recalls the perks to an evening game.

“It is always a treat and a special time when alums, faculty and current students can get together for some leisure time together. Catching up with the graduates of the MEM program gives me great pleasure since I can see how their careers are progressing onward and upward. And getting to meet the new and current students reinforces my feeling that the program is getting stronger. PriSim is proud to sponsor the MEM/PriSim Football Tailgate and hopes to continue to do so for years to come. Go CATS!“
