In the McCormick School of Engineering and our MEM program, we believe in whole brain engineering.

Whole brain engineering is a different way of thinking to connect disparate fields, put big ideas into action, solve global problems, and imagine what’s next. It takes left-brain analytical skills. It takes right-brain creativity.

Our belief in whole-brain thinking goes beyond engineering and applied science. It guides how we educate our students and how we strive for innovation in our research – encapsulated in the below video.
