On June 7th, the MEM class of 2014 assembled for one last day of fun before graduation: the annual Painting of the Rock. This year, the grads painted three rocks together: the “traditional” MEM rock, featuring everyone’s signatures; the Minion rock, painted to look like one of the minion characters from the animated film series Despicable Me; and the cat rock, featuring the likeness of Pusheen, the chubby feline from the animated web comic of the same name. Afterward, the group headed to Todoroki in Evanston for sushi and reminisced about their favorite classes and shared their favorite memories from their time in the MEM Program. It was a memorable day of R&R for the MEM grads who, after all their hard work, have definitely earned it. Way to go, Class of 2014!
