INCOSE Chicagoland Spring Tutorial – Project Planning for Engineers

incose_logoThe Chicagoland Chapter of INCOSE invites you to attend its first-ever Spring tutorial. This year’s topic is Project Planning for Engineers, and will be presented by Mr. Randy Iliff, Vice President of InSight Services at Bjorksten | bit 7.

The tutorial will take place on Saturday, May 10th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Bjorksten | bit 7 facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Continental breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack will be provided. Bjorksten | bit 7 will provide hard copies of class materials at the tutorial and will make additional materials available to attendees after the event.

Are you tired of planning that does not account for creative effort, acknowledge embedded risk, or allow realistic resource levels and duration? If poor planning keeps you from doing good engineering, this may be the most valuable engineering class you ever take. This tutorial will show how familiar engineering concepts can be readily applied to the planning process and thus increase your skill set exponentially.

Randy Iliff has over 30 years of experience working on projects ranging in budget size from a few thousand dollars to well over $1 billion. Mr. Iliff is currently the Vice President of InSight Services at Bjorksten | bit 7, where he helps clients maximize market potential through business and strategic planning, product/technology road-mapping, project management, systems engineering, and continuous process improvement. He has presented thousands of hours of training courses and is a charter member of INCOSE. Mr. Iliff has been a great supporter of the Chicagoland Chapter, and his knowledge, professional insight, and captivating stories have made him a favorite presenter at previous INCOSE events.
