Attention Recent MEM Grads: NASA Job Opportunity in Maryland

Please see the details of this job opportunity shared by Joseph Holmes of Acuity Edge and Duke University, below.

“I am an adjunct professor within the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program at Duke University.  Outside of my teaching responsibilities, I have partnered with another consulting firm (Telophase) to provide onsite technology transfer support services within a NASA facility in the Maryland/DC area.  As part of our contract, we plan to hire another full-time Commercialization Specialist during the August time frame (no later than September).

I am very interested in hiring an MEM graduate since such graduates have technical competency but also have interest in non-technical aspects of work.  Strong preferences are for an electrical/computer/software engineer with familiarity with the fundamentals of commercialization (tech transfer) and intellectual property.

I reached out to Duke yesterday to post the position, but also wanted to reach out to other MEM programs to increase the applicant pool.  Leaders within the Duke MEM program mentioned that other schools within the MEM Consortium would be a good start to broader distribution. Applicants with questions after reading the job description in detail can contact me (Joseph Holmes) via e-mail (”
