SiNode follows fellow Northwestern startup NuMat who won the same Cleantech division at the Rice Business Plan Simulation last year. With the help of Chemical Engineering Professor Harold King they have developed a high power, high energy lithium-silicon anodes for Li-ion batteries.
SiNode first started working together in the Farley Center NUvention Energy course. NUvention courses are unique startup classes that bring together students from all schools at Northwestern and is one of (many) reasons students end up choosing the Northwestern MEM program.
